Vipers sign Texas Southern University - Lamont Walker
The Vipers has announced they have agreed to a contract with Texas Southern University shooting guard Lamont Walker for 2019-20 season.
Walker is now under contract through 2020, and Vipers tweeted he will be a franchise player that brings energy, spark, and intensity to the starting five lineup this season.
Following the Vipers Regional loss to the Hawks, The Ceo (RJ White) hinted that she will be making changes fast and that season 5 will bring a championship telling reporters she has several overseas forward/centers, as well as she, continues to build around the offense of Devonte Coe, NAIA D1 former Martin Methodist College scorer Darius Woods, Lock Down Defender Asonti Dixon, ABA rebounder and Honorable mention Terrance Peele, D1 Rockford University Shooting Guard and 3-point rainmaker Nate Philips and D1 Mississippi Valley Jabari Alex. The record for the Vipers during the past couple seasons has been mortifying especially to the brand they are building. This extension means Walkers contract runs through the 2020 season, but it doesn’t appear like he will stick around that long as overseas teams are already making inquiries.
