About Vipers Pro Basketball
Vipers Pro Basketball is a professional men's ABA basketball team located in Lake County, Illinois. Players that play for the Vipers Pro Basketball team play on a Semi-Pro level in lieu of building experience and regimen on a professional level. Vipers Players are placed in a professional environment, play against high talent, are required to do media training, resume building, work at least 25 hours with an employer, community involvement up to 1000 hours, self building, hours of weight training, practice - three days a week and also required to have a passport to travel internationally and expected travel nationally. Players will play against high talent from high ranked teams within the league up to national teams (same teams that would compete in the Olympics).

We have a unique environment at the Vipers, our players and staff consist of an eclectic group who have played streetball, recreational ball, organized ball or played on a D1, D2, D3, NAIA, or juco level. We have players who have completed their BS Degree and are successful members of the workforce. Most of our players strive to make it overseas to support their families and community doing what they love.
ABA Rules
- 3D Rule - if the ball is stolen in backcourt a 2-pointer is a 3-pointer, 3-pointer is a 4-pointer.
- Fiba Rule - Once it touches the rim it's live, snatching it off the rim is not goaltending
- 7-second Rule - 7 Seconds to get up half court
- (6) foul Rule - Cant foul out, after 6 fouls each foul consistents of a free throw.
